Well Sako and I welded to the range today. I took the 218 Bee Martini cadet, the 22 K Hornet Low wall, 45-70 Highwall, Cz 527 22 Hornet and the 44 special night guard. What a fun day!! First the Bee, it shot awesome today what a fun little rifle. The first target picture is the bee’s. Next was the CZ 527 22 hornet. Love love love this rifle. The set trigger is phenomenal, zero recoil and stinking accurate! Second target on the cardboard backer is 4 rounds 50 gr Hornady bullet with 9 grains of H110. Stupid fun!! The 45-70 shot as it always does… boom, clang!
Now for the Night Guard. We started at the rifle range so I decided to give the 10 yard steel plate a poke with the night guard. On out of 5 connected on a 12” plate at 100. I packed it up and waited to go to the pistol range. One there I ran 240 gr 7 unique loads and 180 grain unique loads after sone sight adjustments it dialed right in that is a 10 yard offhand target that’l do. The 240 grain load prints exactly opposite above the orange dot. Good times!!!

Great day at the range. The CZ hornet, you don't even have to try to be accurate,it just does it for you. The S&W 396, well for me it was a disappointment. I simply could not shoot it. Grip was thin for my big mitts and due to some nerve problems in my right hand, the recoil for me was unpleasant. Andy shot it like a pro so no flies on the platform, it just unfortunately, was not for me.
Had some fun with a Pedersoli 1874 Sharps firing 500gr cast bullets with 10gr of Trailboss powder. It was comical to say the least. You would have swore I was shooting a suppressed Sharps
Besides that I messed around with my Marlin Camp carbine 9mm and a Browning BL 17 in 17 Mach 2. Both are a hoot for steel at 100 yards.
Had some fun with a Pedersoli 1874 Sharps firing 500gr cast bullets with 10gr of Trailboss powder. It was comical to say the least. You would have swore I was shooting a suppressed Sharps

Subsonic 45-70 is a hoot to shoot.

My favorite caliber! The Hornet rules. Li'l gun is the powder but it looks like you've got the right combo.
