Thanks Ron
It's the biggest I've caught in some time.

Although I'm hoping to dwarf him but that would just lead to fish stories.

Back in the day, when I was stationed in Washington State we used to Catch Cutthroat Trout in the streams near Vader, Wa. My little nephew came home from the creek with a stringer of them, all larger than any of us had ever caught.
Turns out the little guy rode his bike to the little store that sold goldfish for like a dime each. Even after his Father explained how that was illegal, you couldn't wipe the smile off their faces as the whole family had fresh trout for dinner.

Fallow Doe at 174metres.
T3x 243
Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro
Leupold QR rings on a Contessa rail...( use my wheeler torque wrench to tighten the rings which results in a return to zero each time.)
Remington factory 80gr PSP.
Screenshot taken from video about 30 seconds before sending the shot.
Projectile entered the neck about 2" below the base of the head resulting in DRT.
Doe turned completely side on before the shot and extended her head forward to nibble something on the slope. Rifle sighted in at 100m so held just below the top of the neck line.
Couldnt get closer due to the wind and the steep gully between us.
3rd animal taken this week... Got 2 wild pigs within 2 seconds of each other last week at 69 and 91metres with the same setup but forgot to start recording.

Still getting used to using the thermal.

She obviously did NOT pick it up by the tail and smack it on the ground :D Or did she?

I told her, I buy you a shotgun and you use a shovel!?! Her excuse was that she didn’t want to scare the chickens. 😁

OK, I'm convinced. Ill be buying one of those turkey fan things and try to put the sneak on some. I got fuzzed too many times this year by turkeys who were smarter than I.

My Rancher friend wanted to get a 12’ tall 5’x9’ tower blind for $8K!! The installation would have been quite the pain and it was bigger than we needed. Hell, I could have lived in the thing!
Instead, I talked him into two 5’x6’ ground blinds and two more 600lb ground feeders for less than the big blind!!
I can move both blinds and the feeders with the forks on the tractor and we can adjust their location around the ranch as needed. The big tower blind would have been a permanent fixture.
Force multiplier.
