Armscour .22lr

Post by Rugerfan »

Does anyone have any experience with this ammo? PSA has it on sale(or did last night) for $24.90/500rds. That’s the best price I’ve seen in quite some time. I’m wondering about how good it is.

I've never tried the .22lr but I bought quite a bit of their.22mag ammo and it wasn't as accurate as the CCI's but it was acceptable, and half the price at the time.

I’ve played with it. It goes bang and hits cans at reasonable distances. Have never really tried to shoot bug hole groups with it so I can’t speak to accuracy.

A few months ago I ran 200 rds of Armscour .22lr through the Ruger mkii. There were no issues with feed or eject. I didn’t notice any accuracy difference at 10 -15 yds vs CCI standard. hand held its likely more accurate than I am. Didn’t do any controlled measurements.
