Optic for 300aac

Post by Centermass »

What type of optics are y’all running?

I’m planning on this being a 100M weapon…

I was thinking 3x red dot….

I use a no X red dot.
I have a max point blank range if 208-ish yards using an 8” circle with mine. Using 110 grain bullets.

I have a Burris fast fire on mine.

But mine is a pistol for 70 yards and less

My model 7 I’m running a Burris 3x9 FF E1. I like the scope.
On my AR I’m running an sig romeo 5. I’m toying with the idea of slapping a set of irons on the AR and just running that.

When I had a .300 BO I used an Aimpoint red dot. I sold the upper because, as it turns out, I personally don't have much use for the round.
