"Can" I get some information.
I am a first-time buyer, looking at a multi-Caliber. Used on 308, 5.56, .223 AR's and Bolt guns. I am looking for advice/recommendations on types, brands, do's and don'ts.
A couple I have found information on are:
Banish 30
Omega 300
Thanks in advance.

Looking at a multi caliber….what?

Re: "Can" I get some information.
Narrow it down; way down. There are literally hundreds of guns in those calibers. Kinda like asking for advice on buying an automobile. Not sure what a "multi-caliber means. Stating what you have in mind will get you plenty of advice.
OK! You're looking for a suppressor to serve on multiple guns. I have no advice in that regard.

A suppressor, thought the title would be enough.

So far I've gleaned that a .308 can works better on a .223 than the other way around.

I like my resonator R2, It's almost as good as my form 1 can, but is a LOT quicker to swap between barrels

I sometimes think about a shorter Resonator K, but suppressor volume (CCs, cubic in) is one of the major contributors to how well it perform

They make it pretty easy. I've purchased 2 from them. The R2 and a 22 rimfire

What's your budget?
I have an Omega 300 and it works well enough for my uses, especially for what they tend to go for. The modularity is overrated, in my experience it just works itself apart.
If I were starting the can game over again, I would just buy a sealed .30 cal Surefire can and be done.

After looking at the Surfire website, that price range is more than I want to spend. I am hoping to spend under 1K for the complete process.shotgunshooter3 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2023 6:09 am What's your budget?

Understandable, though if you look on other websites you may find it for less.
For your budget an Omega 300 is a solid choice, even with its shortcomings. It's popular for a reason.

I had a .30 can that I tried on a .22. It didn't work well. I don't know why.
