Trade......

Post by jbp-ohio »

Went a county south today and visited family. My oldest brother was saying he wanted something smaller than his current carry piece. So I traded him my Kahr PM9 (that I haven't carried since getting my Hellcat) even up......

The SA is worth 2-3X what the PM9 is worth in today’s market. But if that’s what he wanted/needed, win-win 👍👍👍

Well....... so much for that plan. I get to sell it to pay for a tooth extraction. Just cracked one down the center. When an Army Dentist gives you a filling, they hog it out to make the top wider than the base like an upside down bell. That way it can't fall out while deployed. Also means 37 years later they are brittle and break in half on a peanut.

Bummer :(

FYI, if you need something for pain control, a combination of Ibuprofen and Tylenol has been found to be more effective than narcotics.
An overview of systematic reviews in JADA including data on over 58,000 patients following third-molar extractions found that when comparing the pain-reducing efficacy of NSAIDs and opioid analgesics, the combination of 400 mg ibuprofen with 1,000 mg acetaminophen was more effective than any opioid-containing regimen

Sounds like a job for Advil Dual Action if you don't want to get reamed by high prescription prices.

Or a bottle of rot gut, whichever is more convenient.

I hope it's a quick and painless procedure!

I think Billy Chuck's toe still holds the record though.

Thanks. Got antibiotics today. Could get pulled tomorrow but the Dentist said the root goes into my sinuses and may have complications like a continuous runny nose. I have my stepsons wedding Sunday so I decided to roll the dice and wait until next Tuesday.

You can probably buy a BUNCH (600 count bottles of each) of generic Ibuprofen and acetaminophen for the price of a SMALL bottle of the advil.
I know I can get Acetaminophen and diphenhydramine (Benadryl) for the price of a 50ct bottle of "Tylenol PM"
