I’m any case it’ll be a hoot to test them all. Conor me intrigued.

It'll be Saturday before I get a BUNCH of casting done. Then I'll try and get them "dressed" (sized, lubed and GC'd) Sunday. If I can find my 35 cal GCs. If not, they'll have to wait until my new box arrives next week

I might just cast 30ish of each Saturday, get em dressed and loaded and see 1)how they shoot from the scoped 6" compared to the already cast and dressed LBTs, I just have to find them, then 2) Gel test them to see which gives me the best compliment to the LBT's penetration. As of now, I'm off Mon-Wed. Time enough to load and test

Can you use "tips" on those hollow points to drive the tips into the hollow point cavity and promote expansion?

Before they even put on their socks or do warm up stretches.

You mentioned that feral piggies were one of your concerns for these. The first question I'd have (for nose pin selection) is how big do your local swine get. The second (for alloy) is how fast you plan to drive these.

The nice thing about 20-1 is that it 'shrooms pretty well even with no HP to assist it.

That's two examples of my original 130 grain LBT WFN for my Martini .310 Magnum / .32Actual-20 shot with the same load into milk jugs at about 1250 fps (long rifle barrel). The hard bullet on the left was a nine-jugger (roughly 30-33" of gelatin equivalent). The 20-1 bullet on the right took 4 or 5 as I recall (13-18" of Jell-O).

My only concern for 20-1 is that I've had it and other bullets of that equivalent hardness quit on me for accuracy not much above that load intensity level - and that's in long guns that will have less base disruption on muzzle exit than handguns will . Elmer Keith's 16-1 is your likely fallback.
