 Interesting! Could be lee dies are not the best choice for the intended purpose. That's what I get for being thrifty, the Lee's were 10 bucks cheaper

I usually use Lee dies but I got the .25-35 dies at a gun show!
What load is that, powder/bullet??

Yup! 4895 is what I used, don't remember the powder charge!

I'd like to try some 120gr RN if I can find some. I need to look and see what mold options are available.

Mine really likes the 117 RN's. It's an 1899 take down and for some reason it won't feed spitzers. The case mouth catches on the rim of the chamber!

I suspect it will be a while before Hornady, assuming they even do, tools up to make the RN in ether weight. I've got a pretty good supply of 117 & 120 gr BTSP bullets to shoot while I wait!

I've always been a bit impatient.
I do have to send you those grips.
I could throw these in a box to you to try.
Maybe pay AL back some too.
?
BTW wondering if your brass turned out about. 050 long as Al's did ?
Thinking if so that trimming 20-30 thousands off first would possibly help in reforming too.

I could have sworn we both got a box of those at Pete's but I'll be darned if I can find mine. If you don't think you will use them, I'd love to try a few.
And yes, my cases can out about the same long and will require trimming. Hadn't thought about trimming first, might be worth a try.

I'll send them then.
Seems if you could experiment and find the right starting length then you won't be moving as much brass back neck and shoulder wise.. it would possibly come out even better or easier then.
