It's been a busy week.....last ever visit to Pete's gun shop.

Post by JunkCollector »

The store closed late last year.
Time to enjoy his retirement
All the guns are long gone.
Today he had a 1 day sale to clear ammo, reloading and other miscellaneous items.
Counters shelves anything that wasn't nailed down.
Everything was 30 % off marked price.
.
Tom the owner was a great guy.
His gunsmith was also there.
Another great guy who happens to be a wood junkie.
He's on the list to make me a stock someday.
So I made the treck up to see them.

As usual he had lots of bullets real cheap add in 30 % less and it was dirt cheap.
Even found a pound of powder after discount 9 bucks.
A few 10 dollar boxes of ammo and other assorted free things.

A place that will be missed

It is this place was always loaded with stuff and the owner you'd just talk to for hours.
He was and is a real gun guy.
Think he said he had 78 lever actions at home....lol

That was a great shop, glad I got to visit it while I was there. One of those place that you just feel welcome the minute you walk in and no matter how many time you walked around, there was always something interesting you missed.

No he actually closed last year and was going to transfer the store.
Just time for him to retire.
This was a one day event where he re-opened to clear out ammo reloading etc.

Our lawmakers here just want to make sure the next revolution starts where the first one did.

I didn't there is little I'd really need.
It's like the bullets.
Yeah some I'll use but most at 4 dollars a box.
I won't see again and it's easy to help other shooters.

I just tried to organize the heads.
Yes the bottom got filled too and no they didn't all fit...

Well my nephew has a 6.5 Jap and I have the dies but still think the bullets will not get used.
Some I'd like to try though.. . The 160 RN for example.
