Can’t let Wambli have all the fun.

Sako and I had a fun day shooting shotguns at clay. After the range we hit the shop for a crawl….I found a shotgun I couldn’t refuse, an11-87 Sporting Clays 12ga with fantastic wood. Yeah I’m going to have to rejoined this one! Only fly in the ointment is a home porting job that the gunsmith looked at, it’s not pretty buy won’t effect function. I can overlook that for the price….

Anyway…. Beautiful gun brother and great score. I didn’t give the DIY porting job that much attention since I’ve owned a few shotguns that are ported my brain just though it was a factory job just from casually looking at the pictures. If it bugs you or it impede operation plenty of barrels out there but wood like that? Not so much.
