As unpacking continues, more blasts from the past

Post by Wambli Ska »

Jerry Lee (Concho Kid) used to send these to the Mods as a thank you for the year's work, I still have a few of them all signed in my library. Long after I quit as a moderator I still spent a lot of time with him on the phone working in the background doing the technical admin work on the old board for him because he was just internet challenged. I still have his old admin Id and password info somewhere...

Besides the board we talked about a lot of things, actually mostly other stuff besides the board. He was not a great Admin to the old G&A forum, mostly because of the nonsense that G&A was pulling in the background which kind of took the wind out of his sails anytime he wanted to do something cool, but personally he was a GREAT guy, a walking encyclopedia of firearms knowledge and a fantastic/editor. Highly accomplished and respected in the industry and I'm glad we became friends.

Unpacking is bringing back a lot of good memories. This was a good one.
