The Guns & Outdoors forum is a place for shooting and outdoors enthusiasts to hold conversations, ask questions, share ideas and other valuable information.
I've seen this on 3 different forums, and NO ONE has been able to show a source that isn't basically, "______ heard from Ruger..."
Why hasn't someone posted the actual email/notification FROM Ruger?
Until I see something actually from Ruger, or on their site, I'm thinking BS.
Sure, I could be/possibly am, wrong. c'est la vie

Well, I have everything on there list that I want and multiples of some. So, I’m set. It’s just a shame for the consumer. Hopefully it’s rectified at some point.

According to the article/website/forum that I posted a link to, this is not about Beretta. The 2 companies have apparently decided to play nice right now.
According to that source, Ruger has done better financially than I expected. Revenue is up plus no debt.
Apparently this is coming from more than 1 distributor. And it’s not the 1st time Ruger has done this.

Well that sure is a lot of words to say they met the needs of whatever agreement they had with Beretta a month early. And whatever Mays plan is, is going forward.
Damn! Talk about a "Great disturbance in the Force"!
They're basically dropping anything that costs anything to make, which are exactly the models I've typically been interested in. The 77 Hawkeye's are getting to be about the last gasp for affordable controlled-feed Mauser descended sporters.
I was pretty uneasy when they released their Gen 3 Glock clone. Granted, I look at pretty much ANY new pistol and see a conglomerated pile of patents (mostly Browning's) that expired decades ago, or efforts to not infringe on the patents of better mechanics (i.e. Glock), but all the same, when the largest American gunmaker comes out with a bald-faced copy (like S&W did with the Sigma series). . . I imagine Bill Ruger did a few somersaults in his tomb.
WWJMBD?
I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.
