Ruger MK III Target optic mounted

Post by jkp »

The optic mount I wanted from Lobos Industries finally came back in stock. Got it mounted today on my MK III that had a FO front sight with an odd (to me at least) rear sight that seemed ill suited for a target pistol.

That's all gone now. Waiting on a front sight filler screw (of course Ruger uses a different pitch screw in the front).

Thinking about swapping grips on these two.

I have the MKII like yours on the left. It is such a Lazer, I'm afraid to change anything

Yeah, there's a reason they sell out quickly.

My pics don't show it, but the underside is curved to hug the gun when mounted.

I'm happy with the $45 investment.

Definitely an improvement over this...

JKP that is fine work and a fine stable of Ruger MKs
Think that Ruger shoots like a laser now? just wait until that Holosun is dialed in and you have a bit of range time to hone your red dot technique….. you ain’t seen nothin yet!
