Suggestions for inexpensive pocket size binocular or monocular
Looking for a “decent” optic to give a kid that does not always keep up with things. This would be a test to see if he can keep up with a more expensive quality binocular setup.
Not looking for Tasco blister pack crap from Walmart, but not a Leupold. Anyone have any suggestions?
I guess I’m looking for the “Primary Arms” of pocket binos (yes, I know PA has binos, but they seem more mid-size and not compact)

Not set, but under $100.
Hopefully a bit under.

Dude. Walmart. If he can keep them for a year, you upgrade him. If not, you’re out $30.

Just complicating things and giving suggestions for what you didn’t ask for, because that’s what we do.
How about range finder instead? It’s a compact monocular, and WAY more useful. Especially at the ranges you hunt.
But then, at the ranges you hunt you don’t really need a range finder.
But still more useful.

I’ve had good luck with Bushnell in budget optics. I’d look there first.

Bushnell range finder, kill 2 birds with one stone.
