Anyone have plans for building a simple chainsaw mill? Or is it worth the $100 to just go buy an aluminum frame one…
I free hand cut these, and plained them. I could have gotten another slab if I cut a little straighter

Normal is just a setting on the washing machine
Re: Chainsaw Mill
Can’t speak to the jig, but can speak to the chain. A ripping chain is essential from the guys I know who have a chainsaw mill. Alternating teeth take a small cut on the right, then the left, then clear the chip. In a sense it gives you more horsepower without requiring a larger saw.

Re: Chainsaw Mill
The harbor freight one has worked for us great for many years. But as with all harbor freight stuff your mileage may vary.
