Re: Is It ECONOMICAL To Reload Anymore?

If you cant get what you want any other way, then time is never a factor. service rifle? Can I buy stuff I use for the short lines? Heck yes, and I know the guy that makes it and he is a perfectionist. He also charges like one. I would go broke buying 77gr match 556 in the volume I use. Posted I had...

Had a good weekend

Went to Reade for 3 days of shooting. Fri shot a 4 man team match with a pick up team and we did pretty well. I shot a 484. We were 1930 ish (?) We were the top service rifle team. We were the only service rifle team but I am not letting that add negativity to the #1 spot :) Match rifle team was a g...

Re: Ok got an urge

I do not remember, was Oswald supposed to be using military ammo? I do know that with my Carcano and military ammo you are lucky to hit a 12 inch target at 50 yards. Got a buddy with a Modelo 38. It will hold what Oswald needed to hold. Remember, he only hit twice, and the neck was a miss on an 11x...

No doubt in my mind the shot can be done. Why he got to that point is the only question that is relevant.

Re: Ok got an urge

Well. . .the National Match standard course for rapid fire is 10 rounds in 60 seconds for 200 yards and 70 seconds for 300 yards, with a mandated reload somewhere in the middle, and a perfect score requires results of 1 MOA or better. Oswald would have needed something in the realm of a 4 MOA and w...

Ok got an urge

Ok, yesterday AM I was engaging in one of my retirement past times, arguing on the internet, and I was told that Oswald could not have done it because no one can shoot a bolt action ww2 rifle accurately at the rate the Warren commission says happened from the Zabruder film. This afternoon I was prac...

Re: CVA Kentucky Long Rifle Kit

Patch thickness is your biggest thing for accuracy. That is what takes the rifling. Once you get the patch ball combo down you will forget that you said in error that a 1/46 is better. Mine is 1/72 but is 54, PRB has been taking deer in your area for longer than this has been a country. Now that you...

I'll wait for them to go on sale for sub $300, but I am way more curious than I thought I would be. Here in Colorfornia that would be a legal standard cap gun. The 15 round limit only covers REMOVABLE magazines…. Kinda looks like he saw all the mag bans and said "hold my beer" doesnt it?

Personal best

Shot a match today and while 3 stages qualified as an excrement cabaret, I hammered the sitting rapid fire stage. 80 shot match so you shoot 2 strings of 10 in rapid fire. Start empty, at the "start", load a mag with 2, fire load a mag with 8, fire. 63 seconds. Its origins are in the std f...
