It is an intermediate-length Mauser Gewehr 98, what's not to like. I would buy it but I also have several 98 barrels.

I'm thinking the bolt is a different # than the receiver so again

I did just look over bolts and they alone seem to run over 100
It’s the way the bolt/barrel is interfaced, is the difference. Regular Mausers have a flat barrel face, yugo have a recessed face and extractor cut. Making it a much more involved gunsmithing project. Not hard, but more than just spinning a barrel on.

Yeah I opened the can and bought a barreled yugo, minus trigger and bolt. And a couple other Mauser bolts and bits for like $125. Thought I was set till I learned what I had.
