Wood glue may be the weapon of choice then. Like Japhy, I've used a lot of Titebond for a lot of things, and the generous work time is nice, as is the ability to clean up the squeeze out with a wet rag. If you can wedge open the crack enough that you can use a finger to squeegee glue in from the barrel channel side until it starts to flow out the bottom, you'll be set to clamp the beejeezus out of it.Rugerfan wrote: ↑Sat Mar 16, 2024 4:03 am Since this is just a .22 and not a large caliber, I had started thinking about removing the screws and nails and using wood glue.
