Decided to Trunk Monkey Zed. It’s a long story, but Z basically screws up our plan. Thankfully he didn’t recognize my wife’s car, nor the Missouri plates. Inside in the bed of the rental truck under the cover. He pops open the tailgate.


“SURPRISE MOTHER ****!”

Total disappointment. On the flip side we honestly had the discussion on how to surprise him, and we had to come up with a way for me to not get stabbed or shot. I told Joe before I got in the truck that he had to tackle him if he drew on me.


Some will think this post is made up. I assure you, these conversations were real.

OK, that, is funny, however, provided I survive the initial moment of shocking Z, I would have to be looking over my shoulder the rest of the weekend looking for the payback and the coyote whisperer would totally have his back just for HIS amusement, but, I will have to think on it if I can get a trip together in 8 months, a 10 for effort guys

Had to sight in my .300 with the thermal. So as a skill building exercise (that’s what he calls gay poop) the garden gnome hops on my back. All snuggly like. I wasn’t phased. He tried multiple things to get me to break my concentration. I was a stone! A marble statue.


Until he said “does it thrust when I laugh?”


That got me.

I think, to be technical, this is probably best classified as a "redneck tank destroyer" rather than a "redneck tank" due to the limited, forward-facing arc of fire. The most popular commercial brand of black powder bullet lube is called "SPG". . .Self-Propelled Gun???
