Man it must be in the air! I made chili too! I use copious amounts of New Mexican red chili, rotel and cubed chicken roast.

For those that don't like kidney beans black beans are good. You can also add pinto beans.

Other than smash burgers, (which you’re wrong about) when I have I steered you wrong in food?
Never.

Now go to Walmart and get these items. Grab an onion to chop up in it, raw. And jalapeños.

I’ve made many a pot of chili, many recipes and methods and blah blah blah. This way is damn near my favorite. Beans or no beans, those who don’t like beans probably have had it with kidney beans. Know why they call them kidney beans? Because they taste like piss.

Yes it’s blasphemy to use a package, but if it’s good it’s good. And more importantly to THIS conversation, I know Zee well. I mean I don’t know what’s wrong with him, but I know his cooking methods. If it’s much more than meat and heat, he’s not doing it.

What is this “season” you speak of? We here in northern Colorado have chili, red and green, year round. 🤣

Pork chops.
Cooked in the crock pot. Can of beer, can of cream of mushroom soup, ranch seasoning packet. Stick of butter. Made gravy from the liquid in the pot. Mashed tators.
One of the BEST “come in from the cold woods after freezing your nuts off hunting “ meals I’ve had.
