Re: Kel-Tec just released another… thing
Ok, I just watched the “announcement” video for this thing. Straight out laughed at 2 parts:

“It’s a pistol”
“Made with pure Florida magic!”

Kel-Tec just released another… thing

A cut down pistol version of the Sub-2000. This one I kinda like. I have an old Sub 2000 generation 1, and it is a solid shooter.

The videos I saw were pretty awful. Glad you and yours are safe, and prayers out for those affected.
I know my hometown got more rain and river rise than they did last year. But less damage, since everything in the path of the flood was already gone

Vacuum sealer?
Ok, I have just about killed my LEM vacuum sealer. I’ve had this about 8 years, and it was their cheapest model at the time. It was replacing a Foodsaver that I worked to death with almost daily usage. Besides Foodsaver and LEM, does anyone have recommendations? I’d love to do a chamber sealer, but ...

Yeah, that first one is a damn near perfect EDC fixed blade setup.

We will be doing smash burgers and hotdogs on the blackstone with some backed beans and a few other sides. Pics to come when that all gets running.

Let me help you with that…. https://armsunlimited.com/zastava-m83-357-magnum-revolver-2-inch-barrel/ Since I don’t want to goof up those screws any more then the factory did, I just blew about 30 years of dried oil out of the action and re-lubed it with Lucas gun oil. Time to get weird looks from th...

Re: Another dumb surplus purchase
I have heard that you can replace the mainspring with a 1911 17lb hammer spring and it will make the DA trigger much better. But the side plate screws are lock-tite’d in and real easy to booger up because of the stupid Star pattern heads.
So, I MAY try doing that at some point

Well… who wouldn’t want to buy a $250 2” Yugo made .357Mag revolver? IMG_2793.jpeg Is it outdated? Are parts impossible to find? Is it somewhere between a K-frame and a python… but with a horrible DA trigger? YES! But… why the hell not? I have good CHL guns, and combat guns… I do not have a commie-i...

I was just reading up on that. One thing I noticed is that it is NOT safe in all 6.5CM chambered rifles. That seems to be… an issue.

Re: Have you ever swamped a truck?
When I was in college, I had a 1980 Dodge Ramcharger. I loved that truck.
But I buried it to the axles and floorboards multiple times. I mean I got it stuck so bad one time it took two trucks to pull me out

The deer at my lease will roll around and use the pig pipes we put out. But then again, the raccoons, pigs, roadrunners, and dove do as well

I have a model 60, and used to have the “papoose” takedown that used the same mags that you have. I wish I hadn’t sold it now.
