Teasing? Opening day is Nov 1, which is stupid to have it on a Sunday. The deer are teasing me!

Man, that is one of those ones I have wanted to find for years. Nice score!

Uh… from what S&W did to T/C, I don’t know if this is a good thing

I do find it hilarious that one guy says ‘this is what’s going to happen’, then it happens… and everyone acts surprised.

So, what’s the “project”? Well, with the NFA SBR stuff going on, I was wanting to do something like this: IMG_3315.jpeg https://www.sarcoinc.com/1911-wood-stock-with-special-mainspring-housing/ https://www.sarcoinc.com/1911-holster-stock-walnut-with-mainspring-housing-harness/ https://www.sarcoinc....

You gave me an idea

My first “real” pistol was one of the Norinco 1911s that I bought around 1990 before Chinese import guns were banned. I would equate the Tisas to the old Norinco guns. Same config, the Norinco finish and trigger are better, but the Tisas has a really smooth action. I’d put it between my Kimber and m...

So, Palmetto State Armory had the Tisas 1911 on sale the other day for $299. Being a sucker for cheap poop, I bought one with plans to make something goofy. It showed up at my FFL yesterday. I have to say I am impressed with this thing: IMG_3141.jpeg IMG_3143.jpeg I ran about 150 rounds of mixed bag...

Beans? WTH, man?!?

IMG_2787.jpegIMG_7596.jpegIMG_0519.jpeg Holy crap! Mini-14/30 much? That’s my brother’s Mini collection. He loves the platform. I love the police evidence room one that is a complete Fallout style BFPU. The top of the gas block is like screen door aluminum, with a screen shim in it. And it works 100%

Welcome! Glad to have you here, and another Texan to boot!

And to Zee- I want thermal, I just can’t afford the stuff that some shoe-salesman showed me. So I just keep buying weird stuff instead of saving up

Looks like cheval is back on the menu!

With the massive bloodletting going on at Ruger, let’s post up some Ruger pics! Plastic and pot metal.

And Marlin.

Zee wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2026 5:41 pm If true. I’m sad. Very sad.

Same. I was going to get a GP100 and an LCR after the first of the year.
And now the gouging on used models will commence!

Anyone else been seeing this online? Pretty much everything that made Ruger “Ruger” is being shut down in production: https://x.com/harveyspistols/status/2110102154346406146?s=10 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: THE FOLLOWING RUGER SERIES GUNS ARE BEING SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY FROM PRODUCTION SR1911 LC C...

uhh… you think they will make the newbie in the lab test fire it?

This guy has a wicked cold sore

Sorry to hear that. May she rest peacefully

Not really. I got mine direct from SARUSA: https://sarsilmaz.us/shop/sar9seriesmagazine/
