I shoot a 20 Tac. I shoot mainly 32 gr. bullets. I've found that with these bullets it's hard to get velocities below 4000 fps. I've used many different powders, 10X, N133, and Tac. What exactly was wrong with your gun that they had to replace the cylinder? How do you even destroy a cylinder beyond repair? I think I would want to know what happened. Did they repair it under warranty?

OK, I'm going way off-topic here, but what was the temp where you were shooting? No shade as far as the eye could see. Around my parts, Central Valley in California, the temps have been flirting with 100 degrees for a while. The convection off the desert had to be brutal.

A couple of things about the Colt, first is that it is a Colt , that automatically makes it a superior firearm. Secondly, the case color is pristine. Usually, case coloring begins to fade over time.
